"Dear AVSBI, I was one of those people who had to deal with sweaty palms on a regular basis. Seven years ago I had a surgical procedure to correct this. The doctor told me that the sweat would probably shift to a different location. It did. I suffered with excessive armpit sweating ever since. That was until I was introduced to Apple Valley Skin and Body Institute by a friend. While sitting in the waiting room I read some information that said Botox can help reduce excessive armpit sweating. I inquired about this during my consultation. I was surprised to find out that Botox could be used for more than cosmetic purposes. About a month ago I had my underarms injected with Botox. I swear on the drive home I noticed a different feeling; as if it was working right away. The next day I was running around at work, up and down stairs when I realized that I was not in need of a clean dry shirt. For the first time in a very long time I didn't need to change my shirt in the middle of my shift. As the days passed by I had little to no sweat production from my armpits. I can actually wear blouses not that are colors other than white. I have confidence I never had before, confidence that I won't produce an ugly sweat stain on my clothes. "Many years ago, I was a competitive body builder. I remember the pure torture as part of the ritual for competition, was to have my entire self waxed from head to toe.
